I never did get around to posting photos of last years snow. I have so many photos to post on here now! It's been a very hectic year with working full time and spending time with my family. Time is flying by way too quickly! I do manage to get a lot of photos posted on my facebook page. I've really neglected my blog and flicker pages though. I have so many creative things I want to do and just not enough hours in the day!

I WILL get some photos posted!

Great Blue Heron

I was at Silver Lake the other day taking photos of my grandson when we saw the heron I've been trying to pictures of for years! Watched him catch the fish and fly across to the other side.....he was so quick it was hard to get any photos of him!

Just thinking

I don't believe I posted any photos of all the snow we had here on my blog. I did post a bunch on my Flickr account. I will have to put some on here. This has been a really rough year around here with all the rain and snow. In driving for my job I see all the fields that just look like ponds and think about the poor farmers that can't get out to plant. I can't imagine the effect this is going to have on our fresh produce around here, and this will hurt the farmers for years to come. I'm sure it will take them a long time to recover.

Here's to hoping we see that big golden orb in the sky more days than not from here on out!

I was sitting here yesterday morning, having my coffee and this is the view out my window. I just had to go out and take a few pictures. Spring is FINALLY here....it's so beautiful! Especially after the winter we had!

Border Cafe

We took our daughter here to eat for her birthday over the weekend. She loves this place! We all do.....the food is fantastic and very reasonable. Neat atmosphere too. I've been wanting to take some photos and finally did....had fun over-doing the editing, but I think they came out pretty neat!

Flowers and airplanes

We finally got our flower pot tower done...I need to get more flowers for the one pot but I'm thrilled with the way it came out!
The Thunderbirds were practicing today for the air show this weekend and flying right behind our house....of course till I got out there they were gone so I took some pictures of my flowers!

I managed to get one picture of them...every time I went back inside thinking they were done...here they came again!
