Flags are still flying in the breeze, although they were only flying on this one side! The other side the flags were perfectly still. The capitol dome was the last picture before getting back on the metro and heading home.

Nightshots in DC
This is my first try at stepping out of the box and using manual on my camera. I had to go through several different settings to finally get these pictures.

Korean War Veterans Memorial
This was particulary emotional for me as my dad was a Korean War vet and often said how no one cared about the Korean war. He wore a hat that said "Korea - The Forgotton War". He didn't live to see this memorial built.
Wildlife in DC
This squirrel was so cute just sitting there licking that candy paper!!
I never saw a black squirrel before and this guy seemed like he was posing for pictures.

WWII Veterans Memorial
This was my first time seeing the WW II veterans memorial. My grandfather was in WWII. I thought it was really neat.

I thought the flags looked pretty cool all waving in the wind.

Fall color in Washington, DC
This looked so neat walking down through here. The leaves were gorgeous! It is such a peaceful area right in the middle of the city.

Upstairs view
I know I'm obsessed with the leaves this year! The colors are just so neat! I can't stop myself. These were taken out the computer room window upstairs. I was sitting here at the computer and looked out the window and thought...how neat...lots of different colors out there. The last one is looking down to my flower garden out front....I love hydrangeas they look neat almost year round!
View from a bathroom window
This picture doesn't do the sunrise this morning justice but I had to take it through the screen on my bathroom window. The sky was more red when I first saw it but till I got my camera and tried to get the screen out of the way it was no longer so red. The yellow leaves and red sky looked so cool!
Sunset in Columbia PA
I thought this was a neat sunset the other day we were in PA. We were on the overpass at Rt 30 and I quick snapped the picture. I was hoping to get to the river to get a picture of the sunset but it was totally down till we got to mom's house.

I thought the clouds reflected were pretty neat. Okay, I thought all the reflections were neat!
